EXTREME MAKEOVER: Heart Edition
The Beauty of the Gospel-Transformed Life.
Looking for an "Extreme Makeover" from the inside out?
The Gospel the good news of the coming of the Kingdom--brings Christ’s restorative reign to bear everywhere: beginning with our relationship with God himself, and expanding out beyond that to every realm of life. In Jesus’ teaching in The Beatitudes, we find our ethic for Kingdom living. This is not an ethic that we live out in our own strength, but the way in which every Christian experiences an Extreme Makeover that beautifies us from the inside out through the power of the Gospel.
Our Extreme Makeover occurs as we surrender our lives to be infused by God’s transforming grace.
The Beatitudes found in Matthew 5:1-16 offer us a timeless message of hope not found in trying harder but found in experiencing the reign of King Jesus in our hearts.
