English as a Second Language (ESL)

Sycamore Presbyterian Church's English as a Second Language ministry began in 2004 with just a handful of students. Today, we are offering 7 different levels of English classes to over 80 students from all parts of the world! Our goal is to share our faith while meeting the needs for improved communication skills among the many Internationals living in our community.

Our classes meet every Tuesday morning during the school year (from September through May), from 9:30 to 11:45 AM. Registration is available every Tuesday while we are in session. We offer a free nursery for infants to preschool age children for students attending class.

We have a Spanish language Bible study meeting Saturday evenings, 7:30 PM, and Sunday mornings, 9:50 AM.  Contact Frank Matthews if you have questions (804-794-0238) or fmatthews@sycamorepres.com.
