English as a Second Language (ESL)

Sycamore Presbyterian Church's English as a Second Language ministry began in 2004 with just a handful of students. Today, we are offering 7 different levels of English classes to over 80 students from all parts of the world! Our goal is to share our faith while meeting the needs for improved communication skills among the many Internationals living in our community.

Our classes meet every Tuesday morning during the school year (from September through May), from 9:30 to 11:45 AM. Registration is available every Tuesday while we are in session. We offer a free nursery for infants to preschool age children for students attending class.

We also offer a Citizenship Study Class that meets for 6 weeks as scheduled by the director. All classes are offered free of charge with a minimal expense for student books.  Our next class will begin Sunday evening, March 4th, 6:30 PM
