"Therefore
go and make disciples of ALL nations ..."
Sycamore
Presbyterian Church supports missions and sends missionaries in response to
the great Commission of Christ (Mathew 28:18-20) with the desire to see
ALL people brought to a saving knowledge of God.

Purpose of the Missions Committee
The purpose of the committee is to stimulate participation in
missionary activities through actively supporting missionaries with
prayer, financing and encouragement; to encourage the maximum
involvement in short term mission projects; to seek and send
additional workers into full time service.

"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them,
because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the
workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out
workers into the harvest field." Mathew 9:36-38

Short Term Missions
We support short term missions through the PCA and other
organizations. We send groups of adults and teens on short term
mission projects each year.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on
you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and
teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am
with you always, to the very end of the age." Mathew 28:19-20

2008
This summer we will send a
team of mainly high school and college age students
to Belize, July 5-12.
There will also be a group of
adults traveling to Ukraine, July 10-21, 2008.
Please lift these up in your
prayers as they make preparations and raise their support.
