Women's Ministries

Sycamore is committed to welcoming new women into our church family and sharing the love of Jesus Christ with them. We offer several opportunities for women to share fellowship and to study the Bible so that they may know God better.

As women, we look forward every year to new opportunities to grow spiritually, make new friends, and enjoy the company of old pals. Take advantage of this patchwork of ministries and events to "plug in".

Summer 2008 Bible Studies

The study of scripture is the core of Women's Ministries. Various times and subjects are offered each semester:

Summer Bible Study --

             Join us this summer for Don't Waste Your Life, an 8 week study featuring a video on week 1.   There will be a closing event with food, fellowship and testimonials on August 1.   Check your bulletin for details.

Wednesday Morning Bible Studies--

            Will return in the fall

Tuesday Evening Bible Study--

This study will meet Tuesday nights, 6:30-7:30 pm, they will start again in the fall.

Baby Showers

Special celebrations for the first child born to each family at Sycamore are a quarterly event. These parties are a great opportunity to offer support and encouragement to new and experienced moms. Contributions are made to a group gift. Individual presents are not necessary, but the gift of your presence is priceless!

Women's Retreat

Imagine a week-end set aside to relax, eat good food, experience Spiritual renewal, and make new friends as well as enjoy old pals! Then, mark you calendars for Sycamore's 22th Annual Women's Retreat Fall 2009. Our speaker this year is TBA

Summer Calendar

We don't take a break during the summer months. There are various dates set for crafts, berry picking, luncheons, and kid's days as we continue our fun and fellowship. Check your bulletin for upcoming events.
