A GLIMPSE OF PAST STUDIES:

The Pursuit of Holiness, by Jerry Bridges

“Be holy, for I am holy,” commands God. But holiness is something that is often missed in the Christian’s daily life. According to author Jerry Bridges, that’s because we’re not exactly sure what our part in holiness is. In The Pursuit of Holiness, he helps us see clearly just what we should rely on God to do―and what we should take responsibility for ourselves.

God's Mysterious Ways, by Jane Roach

God sustains and reigns over all his created order. Everything that happens occurs because God wills it according to his purposes, plan, way, and time, and he sometimes calls ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary tasks. The book of Esther gives us a fascinating historical narrative of God's providential activity amongst a failed attempt to annihilate exiled Jews in the Persian Empire.

The Gospel of Luke

"WWJD," four letters that are forever burned in our memories thanks to the bracelets, shirts, books, CDs, conferences, bumper stickers, and other paraphernalia that hit the markets in the 90s and early 2000s.

Judges, By Jen Wilkin

Can you name any of the judges? Did you know one of the judges was a woman?!? Did you know that in the days of the Judges everyone did what was right in his own eyes? Sound familiar- can we apply that to our own lives?  “Faithful study of God’s Word is a means for filling our spiritual storerooms with truth.”— Jen Wilkin
